What these website terms cover
These terms apply to your use of forkfulfieldtrips.com, run by Forkful Field Trips, 174 Meeting Street, Suite 302, Charleston, SC 29401, USA. By using the site you accept them. Bookings are covered separately by our booking terms, which we also send with every confirmation; if the two ever differ, the booking terms apply to your booking.
Using the website
You may browse the site, print pages and share links for your own, non-commercial use. Please do not copy large parts of the site, scrape it, try to break its security or use it to send spam or harmful code.
Prices, dates and tour information
We keep tour descriptions, dates, seat status and prices up to date, and we check them every week. Menus, producers and opening days can still change, and a price or a date can be wrong by mistake. A booking is confirmed only when Lena confirms it to you in writing with the final price; if a price on the site was wrong, we tell you before you pay anything and you can cancel at no cost.
Who owns the text, photos and maps
The text, route maps, logo and the photographs marked “Original image” on our credits page belong to Forkful Field Trips. Please ask before reusing them; we usually say yes to travel writers and teachers.
Other photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under the Creative Commons or public domain licenses named on the credits page, with the photographer’s name. You may reuse those photographs under the same licenses, from their original Commons pages. Map base data: Esri, HERE, Garmin and OpenStreetMap contributors.
Links to other websites
We link to other websites, such as Wikimedia Commons, because they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Our liability for the website
We provide this website as it is, as information to help you choose a tour. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by relying on information on the site that was not confirmed to you in writing, or by the site being unavailable for a while. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA. Any dispute about the website will be handled by the courts of Charleston County, South Carolina. If you live outside the US, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live.
